Last Thursday February 21st, I had the pleasure to make an appearance on the TV One morning talk show, Sister Circle. I was immediately greeted by their team and hosts — Rashan Ali, Quad Webb-Lunceford, Syleena Johnson and Trina Braxton. The energy was warm and absolutely amazing. Everyone made me feel very welcomed. This experience was even more meaningful because my dear friend of over 20 years, roommate in college, and line sister, Rashan Ali, hosted my segment!! She made the process feel absolutely seamless and what started out as a nervous experience turned into exciting memories that will last forever.
Believe it or not, I am really camera shy. I prefer to be behind the scenes so you can guess that this was really outside of my comfort zone. Andrea Harris, the producer of the segment, helped me calm my nerves by walking me through everything that would take place during the segment. I didn’t have my usual glass of wine when I do anything publicly, so I was a bit wired. A special thank you goes to the stylist of the show, Spacial Crenshaw. She has done an amazing job styling these ladies and I am grateful for the looks she has chosen to use from my Tracy Nicole Clothing Collection throughout the season.
