Book/Workbook Overview

“Who Said Peaches Were Perfect?” is a novel based upon the lives of two young women; Torie, a sexy, confident, and independent massage therapist, and Lisa, a college student unaware of her beauty and all she has to offer. Both women are entangled in a struggle to figure out what life and love are truly about. Emotions suppressed from their childhoods, formative habits that have left lasting emotional scars, and heavy baggage make it difficult for both women to know when to let go, and when to hold on to relationships. As you travel along their journey in the tantalizing read, you share  the moments when each woman must find untapped strength from within, in order to move forward and put the past in its place.

Much like our main characters in this story, many teens often display happy behavior, while hiding the suffering that they may be experiencing on the inside. Often not having anyone to talk to, this situation can lead to poor choices that can have a lifelong effect on them. This workbook can be beneficial with or without the actual novel: “Who Said Peaches Were Perfect?”.

This workbook is a tool that is intended to reduce the levels of guilt, shame, embarrassment or isolation by creating the platform for a healthy dialogue amongst teens. When used properly, this workbook will be a catalyst that enables its readers to probe and discuss the real issues that all teens struggle with.
